How do I wash my fursuit?

You have two options to washing fursuits created by me!
You can either hand-wash them OR machine wash.

Care

What is included in my fursuit?

Your fursuit comes with a swatch pack of all fur and other fabric used for your suit, extra sewing thread for emergency repairs, care instructions, thank you card, goodies, and your suit neatly packed. If you ordered any part that includes a head, you will get two tongues, eye-lids, and a pocket compartment in the neck.

How do I make/send in a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD)?

To send your DTD, fold neatly in a box and address it to Crash Landing Fursuits (you will receive my address in our chats). Then we wait! Once the box arrives, I'll send you a picture of it and start working on it!

Is my reference sheet good enough?
A digital reference with at least 2 turnarounds and/or a clear front and back view of markings is perfect! .

Miscellaneous drawings are also good, but cannot be your only source as a reference sheet. I will rely on other drawings for a 360 view of your fursona/character, but the shading and rendering on drawings will hinder my ability to color match correctly.

I changed a part of my character! Can you still add it?
As long as I haven't started cutting out the fur, I can make small changes! If the change is drastic, say a different color or species, I will not be able to add it to your original piece.

Terms of Service

Contact & Communications:

After you submit a "rough quote" to me, Crash Landing Fursuits will contact through social media chats or can continue through email.

Crash Landing Fursuits is allowed to refuse a commission for any reason such as if it does not suit me, my moral beliefs, the health of others or myself.

Age Limitations:

Clients must be 16+ to order. Clients under 18 must have proof of permission from their parental guardian(s) to purchase. Clients under 16 MUST have their parental guardian(s) purchase and be the point of contact with Crash Landing Fursuits.

Types of "Proof": text message chain between client and parental guardian(s), verbal voice message from parental guardian(s), parental guardian(s) contacting Crash Landing Fursuits to confirm and approve of the order.
1. Failure to provide "Proof," will result in an indefinite ban from commissioning me.

Currency and Trust System:

Crash Landing Fursuits take USD (currency). I require a 20% down payment before the start of any commissioned project.
1. You must be responsible for your payments. You have 3 reminders from me before your commission is cancelled.
2. Cancelled commissions will be refunded and will be used in/as a premade. You will be refunded all money EXCEPT the down payment.
3. Available Payment Methods: Venmo, PayPal, and Square.
4. Exceptions: Hand-paws, Feet-paws, Tails, Arm-Sleeves, and Wings. I require payment up front or 50/50 split.
5. Shipping is included in final cost of item(s).
Payment Plans accepted are: 50/50, Bi-weekly, and Monthly.
1. I will notify you when your next round of payment is coming up. Failure to send payments will result in a warning. You will have 3 reminders before I cancel your commission.
  1. To avoid a warning, send an update on when you will have/send the money.
  2. If you are unable to financially hold onto your commission, please let me know, you will be refunded all money EXCEPT the down payment.
Crash Landing Fursuits will send you many progress photos! Once the final draft is sent and approved, you must pay Crash Landing Fursuits the FIRST payment.
1. Please note I do commissions in order from who paid first/priority, to who paid last. Any commission paid in-full, up-front is top of queue.

Owner's note:

I am currently a PART-TIME maker. I am working to become a full-time maker, so please be patient with any changes or work conflicts that may arise. I appreciate all of your support! I rely on commissions to pay for rent and bills, please understand I may be preoccupied with different things that aren't commissions.

If I'm not working, I take time to rest and manage my health (mental and physical) so I don't burn out/injure myself.
